Nanjing Forum 2017 will be held on October 28th and 29th, 2017 in Nanjing, China. Parallel to the Beijing Forum, the Shanghai Forum and the Tianjin Forum, it will be the latest prestigious forum, which aims to promote academic research on humanities and social sciences around the world and thus promotes human progress.
The Nanjing Forum 2017 will be organized by Nanjing University and sponsored by the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies (KFAS). More than 80 world-renowned scientists will be invited to attend the forum. With the theme “Cutting-edge Science and Future Technology”, Nanjing Forum 2017 intends to focus on the frontiers of physics, promote the development of science and technology in related fields and enhance the cooperation and communication of domestic and foreign scholars. The forum will be held by the National Laboratory of Solid State Microstructures of Nanjing University on behalf of the organizing committee.
Quantum Control: based on the physical principles of quantum mechanics, designs and constructs a new type of materials, devices and systems with novel quantum properties and applications.
Artificial Microstructural Physics and Materials: by means of designing and controlling structural units, use advanced micro-nano fabrication technology to acquire artificial microstructure materials and devices which have novel control characteristics on electromagnetic, sound and other waves.
Nanotechnology: fabricates new materials and devices on the scale of nanometer to achieve breakthroughs in the field of information, energy, and biomedicine.
