I will briefly review milestone experiments where quantum particles interact with gravity to argue that we lack a direct evidence of quantum properties of gravitational interaction. Then a scheme will be introduced, with gravity placed in a role of mediator of quantum entanglement, that promises to close this gap. Finally, concrete experimental scenarios will be discussed and I will provide parameters required for the observation of entanglement.
TP was born and educated in Poland, obtaining his PhD with distinction from the University of Gdańsk in 2007.He was then working as a postdoctoral fellow for the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna and the Centre for Quantum Technologies in Singapore.Since 2012 he is an assistant professor of physics at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. His works concern mainly quantum physics with many on the border to other disciplines such as gravity, information and biology.
