报告摘要:
This presentation shows the speaker's research accomplishments both on aqueous and aprotic lithium air batteries. It includes mainly three parts:

(1) Develop protected lithium anodes and the first acidic, aqueous lithium air battery

Based on detailed studies on protected lithium anodes and stability of solid-state Li-conducting electrolytes, a novel Li-air system with acetic-water electrolyte was developed.

(2) From Li-O2 to Li-air batteries: gel-air cathodes and ionic liquid electrolytes

A single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) and ionic liquid (IL) crosslinked network gel (CNG) via cation-π interaction was designed for the oxygen cathodes of Li-O2 batteries. The SWNTs/IL CNG allows the superior 3-dimensional tricontinuous passage of electrons, ions and oxygen, which is able to expand the conventional 3-phase reactive interface to the whole crosslinked network, and thus integrates the attractive performance of specific energy and specific power.

(3) Realize a reversible long-life lithium air battery in ambient air firstly

Incorporating the previous research on protected lithium anodes and gel-air cathodes, a reversible and long-life operation of Li-air battery in ambient air was realized, and the mechanism of discharge and charge in ambient air was elucidated.

In addition, the main challenges and possible solutions for the scientific and engineering research on lithium air batteries will be discussed.

报告人简介:
2007年在复旦大学获得物理化学博士学位。2008年至今在日本研究工作期间,一直致力于新型储能体系:二次锂空气电池的研究开发,是国际上最早从事该领域的研究者之一。先后工作于日本两个主要锂空气电池课题组:日本国立三重大学原国际固态离子学会主席和日本电池技术协会会长山本治(Osamu Yamamoto)教授课题组;日本产业技术综合研究所能源技术研究部门首席科学家,东京大学(兼)周豪慎(Haoshen Zhou)教授课题组。

自2006年起在化学储能材料及器件领域合作发表SCI论文45篇,被他引1160余次(h-index=23)。其中以第一作者在Nature Communications,Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.,Energy & Environmental Science,Chemical Communications,Journal of Materials Chemistry,Journal of Electrochemical Society, Electrochemical Communications,Journal of Power Sources等期刊上发表论文16篇。授权中国发明专利5项,申请日本发表专利1项。受邀撰写两部二次锂空气电池相关著作的部分章节(一部英文,Springer出版社;一部日文,CMC出版社)。
