2006年浙江大学材料科学与工程学院获得工学博士学位,现为浙江大学光电信息科学与工程学系教授,博士生导师。长期致力于微纳光子器件领域研究,在该方向主持国家自然科学基金面上项目2 项,结题青年项目1 项,参加973 课题2 项。迄今共发表47 篇SCI 论文,SCI 他引1000余次,其中第一和通信作者23 篇,H 因子20。近5 年第一作者或通信作者发表Nano Lett. 3 篇,Adv. Mater. 1 篇, Appl. Phys. Lett. 2 篇, Opt. Express 3 篇,Angew. Chem. Int. Edit 1 篇,ACS Nano 2 篇。工作被Laser Focus World、Darpa In The News 和Semiconductor Today等报道。受邀撰写专著章节一章和SCI 综述文章2篇。授权美国或中国专利9项。获得浙江省科学技术奖一等奖1次。国际会议特邀报告10次。是Nano Lett.、Adv. Mater.、Appl. Phys. Lett.、Opt. Express 和Opt. Lett.等杂志审稿人。担任Opt. Comm.杂志客座编辑和国家自然科学基金评审人。

Abstract:
Nanoscale light sources have great potential applications in high density data storage, single molecule detection, direct RNA and DNA sequencing and integrated optoelectronic circuits etc. While for their practical applications, control and optimization of the parameters are of great significance and have been attracting growing interests in the past years. Here I will present our recent work on the key parameters control and optimization about semiconductor nanowire light emitting devices, including efficiency enhancement, wavelength control, mode optimization, threshold reduction and polarization modulation. The work pioneered in nanosale light field may provide a way of fabricating ultra-compact nanophotonic devices and may find its applications in single molecule detection, integrated optical circuits, and optical communications etc.
