The editor's insight into publishing in Nature journals

Pep is leading the editorial team of Nature Biomedical Engineering. He has been aneditor for Nature Materials for more than 5 years, where he championed thebiomaterials content, handling manuscripts and commissioning articles in a widevariety of subjects, including tissue engineering, medical imaging, regenerativemedicine, cancer therapy and diagnostics. Previously, Pep conducted research incomputational soft matter and biophysics at Columbia University's ChemistryDepartment in New York City, at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces inPotsdam, and at the Atomic and Molecular Physics Institute in Amsterdam. Pepobtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering in December 2003 from Rovira i VirgiliUniversity in Catalonia, Spain.
