The investigation of the topological phase of matter has been a major subject in condensed matter physics. Among various topological phases, the quantum anomalous Hall (QAH) insulator with the spontaneous time-reversal symmetry breaking in the absence of external magnetic fields is especially interesting. The exploration of QAH states has always been limited to ferromagnetic systems. Here, we introduce an alternative scheme for realizing the QAH effect in nonmagnetic systems subject to circularly polarized light. We further realized our proposals in disordered systems with nonmagnetic dopping and heterobilayers of transition-metal dichalcogenides via numerical calculations.
王锐,2003年至2012年在重庆大学学习,获得学士、硕士、博士学位。2012年博士毕业留校任教,历任讲师、副教授、教授;2017-2018年在南方科技大学物理系访问学者。研究领域主要集中在计算凝聚态物理、拓扑材料的理论设计和量子调控等相关领域,研究结果在Phys. Rev. Lett.、Nano Lett.、Phys. Rev. B 等期刊发表第一作者或通讯作者论文40 余篇,主持国家自然基金项目3 项、入选重庆市青年拔尖人才。
